Fair Housing

Request an Accommodation

Dean & Associates Inc complies with the federal Fair Housing Act and the Alabama Fair Housing Law. If you have a disability and need a reasonable accommodation at any point in the process — to view a home, to complete the application, to provide documents, to keep an assistance animal, or as an exception to one of our screening rules or procedures — tell us in whatever way is easiest for you: this form, email, phone, or in person. We consider every request individually. When the disability or the need for the accommodation is not obvious, we may ask for reliable information confirming that you have a disability and explaining how the accommodation relates to it; we do not require a diagnosis, medical records, or any particular form. If we cannot grant a request as made, we will discuss alternatives with you. There is never a charge for an accommodation, and making a request never counts against your application. Please tell us how we can help below, and we will follow up with you within five business days. If your request is for an assistance animal, we will refer you to the free accommodation profile at PetScreening.com, which reviews every assistance-animal request for us. If it is easier to make your request by phone, you can reach our office at (205) 259-1918.

What do you need help with?
Tell us what you need and, if it helps, why. For example: a specific viewing time or a way to enter other than the lockbox; more time or a different way to provide documents; the screening rule you are asking us to adjust; or the animal you need to keep.
