Eviction Protection Plan
The Owner will authorize the Broker in the Management Agreement to hire an Attorney and begin legal proceedings when an eviction becomes necessary. A simple uncontested Eviction can cost about $500 for Attorney’s Fees and Court Costs. Complicated legal proceedings will cost more depending on the situation. The Eviction Protection Plan is charged at $10 per month. The $10 per month charge for EPP is waived when the Owner purchases the SureVestor ProtectionPlus Bundle for $44 per month. Services and benefits include:
- Legal Fees and Court Costs: All attorney fees for the eviction process and expenses related to the Court filing and proceeding costs up to $1000.
- Lock Changes: Costs for changing locks after regaining possession.
- Notice Service: The Broker will facilitate all required legal notices.
- Legal Action: The Broker will initiate and manage the Eviction Lawsuit in the Owner’s name.
- Recovery of Possession: The Broker will work to recover possession of the property.
- Debt Recovery: The Broker will pursue recovery of rents and other owed debt amounts.
Coverage that is not included by the Eviction Protection Plan:
- Loss of Rent
- Tenant Malicious Damage
