Rental Customers Requesting an Accommodation to Fill Out a Lease Application
It is our policy to provide real estate leasing services in strict compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and to evaluate every Applicant against the same Published Minimum Requirements for Lease Application Approval, applied uniformly without exception per Federal Fair Housing equitable enforcement requirements.
The Broker does not grant office appointments for the purpose of requesting exceptions to those published requirements. No Rental Customer is granted a meeting to explain their circumstances in order to seek a change to, or a waiver of, the published criteria. This applies to every Applicant in the same way.
A request for a reasonable accommodation is a separate matter. If you have a disability that makes it difficult to complete the application online, you may request a reasonable accommodation, such as completing the application with staff assistance at our office. This is help with access to the application process, not a change to the Published Minimum Requirements for Lease Application Approval. You do not need to share a diagnosis or provide medical records to make the request. Your application is then reviewed under the same standards, and through the same screening, that apply to every Applicant.
